As a beneficiary of the inherent white supremacy in our society, I’m often uncertain how to offer my support to vulnerable populations without seeming performative. In the past, I’ve raffled art as a way to raise funds that can be sent to organizations assisting at-risk communities. With the substantial rise in hate crimes against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the last several months, including the shootings earlier this week, I’ve decided to raffle a piece with 100% of proceeds going to benefit Monsoon Asians & Pacific Islanders in Solidarity
I will do a drawing on March 27th, 2021. First place will be the piece below, second place will be any set of triptychs listed here. Additionally, 100% of sales of triptychs this week will also be donated to IAA.
Payment via Venmo or PayPal is preferred, as it saves on processing fees. You can use the code “VENMO” when checking out to pay that way or message me directly to enter the raffle.
